4 more sleeps, 3 more sleeps, 2 more sleeps, yeah tomorrow we get to go to kindergarden ! But
first we have alot of work to do.
We have to label all our stuff, and pack our bookbags.
1 - bookbag
1 - lunchbag
1 - pair of indoor shoes
1 - box of tissues
1- box of large ziplock bags......YUP, we are ready for kindergarden.

I went back to pick them up 2 hours later, they came bursting out the door scanning the crowd to find me, Gave me a hug, threw their bookbags and ventured off to the playground. Then off to McDonalds for a celebratory lunch.
We arrived home to find a dead yellow bird below our picture window. Preston wanted to bury him...and Destiny said ..I should have never went to kindergarden ..I said Why....she said because then i would have been home to pick him up and save him. They were very sad...
...only to be cheered up later by the next event...Destiny caught a snake. She came barreling in the house saying look mommy he keeps sticking his tongue out at me...ewwhhhhhhhh.
Tomorrow will be the first Bus Ride and full day at school....stay tuned

The bird story was so sweet and the snake story and pic were so funny. I wish I could hug them right now. their personality showed thru in this writing and pictures. You did a good job painting the picture of the last few days, Fonda. I could feel what it was like. Good Job!!

my big boy he looks so cute the look so happy to be going to school and des with that snake i dont know if i could ever pick up a snake she is more of a boy then i was lol tell them i love them.
Great post! They look so cute all ready for school. Hard to believe they are old enough for their first day! Sorry to hear about the bird and the story is so sad. As for the snake...not sure how I would have dealt with that, but I'm sure I wouldn't have been grabbing the camera! LOL
